Prepare the slow cooker with cooking spray or a slow cooker liner.
In a mixing bowl, add the cake mix, 1 1/4 cup of milk, oil and eggs, then mix until the cake batter is smooth and without clumps.
Add the cake batter to the slow cooker.
In another bowl, mix the pudding mix with the remaining milk and whisk until pudding is without clumps.
Pour the pudding mix into the slow cooker right in the middle and do not mix.
Cook on low for 3 hours or until the sides of the cake are spongy.
Serve the cake making sure to scoop up some of the pudding lava and top with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
