Ingredients

  • 1 10 oz bag Tollhouse mini semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 2 5 oz bags of heart-shaped marshmallows
  • Pink sprinkles
  • Red sprinkles
  • 25 bamboo skewers

Instructions

  • Melt chocolate chips according to the directions on the bag.
  • Place red sprinkles and pink sprinkles in two bowls, and set aside.
  • Separate marshmallows into three piles of 25 each.
  • Place a piece of wax paper on your work surface.
  • In the melted chocolate dip 1 marshmallow at a time, covering the whole marshmallow.
  • Use a fork to move the marshmallow around to coat it completely.
  • Let any excess chocolate drip off by gently tapping the fork on the side of the bowl.
  • Carefully place the chocolate-covered marshmallow on the prepared wax paper. Repeat until 25 marshmallows are chocolate-covered.
  • Take another pile of 25 marshmallows and dip just the side in the melted chocolate. Dip the chocolate side into the pink sprinkles.
  • Once those twenty-five marshmallows are partially covered with chocolate and have pink sprinkles do the same with the remaining twenty-five marshmallows but dip them in the red sprinkles.
  • Place on the prepared wax paper once sprinkles are applied.
  • Place in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to allow the chocolate to set.
  • Once out of the refrigerator take a clean fork and bamboo skewer.
  • Place a half chocolate-covered marshmallow with sprinkles onto the skewer and use the fork to push the marshmallow. Then take the chocolate-covered marshmallow and using the same method with the fork help guide the marshmallow onto the skewer. Place another marshmallow with the opposite sprinkles onto the skewer, using the fork to guide the marshmallow.
