Yummy Pineapple Upside Down Cake in a jar in te perfect serving size to share.
Ingredients
- • Pineapple Layer:
- • 2-3 tbsp Butter
- • 1 1/2 cup Pineapple
- • 1/3 cup Brown sugar
- • 9 cherries
- • Layer Cake:
- • 1 1/2 cups Flour
- • 1 tsp Baking powder
- • 1/4 Salt
- • 1 stick Butter
- • 2/3 cup Sugar
- • 1 Egg
- • 2/3 cup Milk
- • 1 tsp Vanilla
- • Topping:
- • 1 cup heavy cream
- • 3 tbsp Powdered sugar
- • 8 oz Cream cheese
- • 1/2 tsp Vanilla
- • 9 Cherries
Instructions
Melt the butter
Add the chopped pineapple and sugar, and then cook gently, about 7 minutes.
In a bowl mix flour, baking powder and salt.
Mix the egg with butter and vanilla.
Add to flour mixture and beat for 2 minutes on medium speed.
Layer pineapple in the bottom of each jar and place one cherry in the center.
Pour in the cake batter.
Bake at 350 for about 30 minutes.
Cool
Beat everything for topping.
Lay on top and garnish with a cherry.
