4th of July Popsicles

Refreshing, colorful popsicles to celebrate indpendence day! Made with real fruit, easy, and fun!

Ingredients

Red Layer:

  • 8 Strawberries frozen
  • ½ cup water
  • 2 tablespoons white sugar

White Layer:

  • 12 ounces coconut milk
  • ½ cup white sugar
  • ¼ cup lemon juice

Blue Layer:

  • 1 ½ cup warm water
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • ½ teaspoon raspberry kool-aid

Instructions

  • In a blender puree the strawberries, water and sugar together. Pour ⅓ way into the popsicle molds. Freeze for 2 hours.
  • For the white layer, add coconut milk, white sugar, lemon juice in a blender and mix together.
  • Add this layer on top of the red frozen layer and fill ⅔ of the way full. Freeze for another 2 hours.
  • For the blue layer mix the water, sugar and raspberry kool aid. Add this layer to the top of the popsicles and freeze for 4 more hours.
  • You can substitute the strawberries for raspberries in the red layer if necessary.
  • Also, yogurt can be a substitute for coconut milk.
