  • 8 cups Rice Chex cereal
  • 1 cup pink candy melts
  • ½ cup creamy peanut butter
  • ¼ cup butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 ½ cups powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp pink sprinkles

Instructions

  • In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the pink candy melts, peanut butter, and butter.
  • Heat in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until fully melted and smooth.
  • Stir in the vanilla extract.
  • Place the Rice Chex cereal in a large mixing bowl or a 2-gallon ziplock bag.
  • Pour the melted candy mixture over the cereal, ensuring all pieces are evenly coated.
  • Sprinkle the powdered sugar over the coated cereal.
  • If using a ziplock bag, seal it and shake vigorously until the cereal is fully covered. If using a bowl, gently toss with a spatula.

  • Spread the puppy chow on a parchment-lined baking sheet to cool and set. Allow it to dry for 15-20 minutes.
