Desserts don’t have to be full of junk to be amazing. A little sweet treat that’s made with healthy ingredients can be so satisfying for your sweet tooth too. And you won’t have to feel guilty about indulging yourself a little with these healthy citrus desserts.

What to Do With Extra Citrus
If you have more lemons, limes, or oranges than you can use up, here are some ideas to use them up. Any food you waste is money down the drain and no one wants that!
- Juice – If you have leftover citrus fruit, juice them all and keep your juice in the fridge for up to 2 weeks. This way you have juice on hand.
- Zest – Be sure to zest your fruit before juicing it, so you can freeze it or dehydrate it for future recipes. Lay the zest on a sheet pan in a single layer to freeze, then place it in a freezer-safe container to freeze.
- Freeze – slice the whole fruits, pat them dry, and lay them in a single layer on a sheet tray to freeze. Once frozen, store them in an airtight container for up to 3 months. They will make a great addition to cold drinks!
