Ingredients for Moist Flourless Chocolate Brownies
The ingredients for this easy & delicious healthy flourless chocolate brownies recipe couldn’t be easier! All you will need
Coconut Oil: This ingredient makes the consistency gooey and chewy.
Dark Chocolate Chips: We used 100% dark chocolate chips as a healthier option, you can also use milk chocolate chips, if you prefer.
Cocoa Powder – 100% organic, pure cocoa powder without any junk additives will be the best option for this recipe
Coconut Sugar – for a healthier sugar, we chose coconut sugar, you can also use organic cane sugar, and coconut palm sugar. Do not substitute with brown sugar!
Cornstarch – this fun ingredient makes the flourless chocolate brownie recipe gluten-free! You can also use tapioca starch for this recipe.
Eggs – 2 large eggs will be needed, this isn’t a vegan brownie recipe, but you can substitute this with flax eggs or chia eggs for a plant-based option.

How to Make Flourless Chocolate Brownies
This recipe takes about 30-35 minutes in total to make + time to cool down the brownies, and they are so easy to make, just mix and match, and mix and match! Here’s how it goes :
- Preheat the oven to 180C/350F. Line an 8 x 8 pan with parchment paper. Parchment paper is so easy to remove, definitely recommend this over anything else.
- In a heat safe bowl or stovetop, combine chocolate chips with coconut oil and melt together.
- Add the sugar of choice and whisk into the chocolate mixture. Then, add the eggs one at a time, and whisk in. Add cocoa powder and cornstarch powder. Whisk until the batter is no longer grainy. It should be smooth and gooey.
- Add in extra chocolate chips. Mix in well.
- Transfer the brownie batter to the baking tray.
- Top the batter off with chocolate chunks (for that extra layer of chocolate magic, see in Step 7)
- Bake the brownies for 25 minutes. It may take a bit, bit longer (up to 2-3 minutes), make sure to check the center with fork. If it comes out clean, it’s ready! DO NOT OVERBAKE THEM.
- Remove brownies from the oven and allow to cool in the pan completely. Once cool, slice into 9 pieces. It took us about 30 minutes for it to cool down so we could slice them up.
There you have it! Extremely delicious flourless brownie batch that is a match made in heaven. Fudgy, chewy, gooey, and all things – chocolatey, these are the best ever gluten-free flourless chocolate brownies to make for any special occasion!

I wonder how I can make this without eggs, my son is allergic to dairy and eggs
The Lemon Diaries says
Hi Eva,
Sometimes mashed banana or applesauce can be used as an egg substitute. I’m not sure how it would turn out, but it’s worth a try.
