I always remember my dad going all out for Halloween. He would decorate the house all up with music and lighting to match. All the trick or treaters would be a buzz about it.
And my mom was into it too. She would always hand sew us elaborate homemade costumes (don’t ask about the year she caught our witch’s capes on fire in the oven on Halloween night because she was just now trying to dye the fabric and it wasn’t dry enough for us to leave, so she set them in the oven to dry and set the dye, but oopsie! But I digress, my mom is a procrastinator, but her heart was in the right place.
Anyhoo, I do always get a little giddy about Halloween because of how much they put into it. But let’s get on to the punch! That’s what you’re here for, right? And a witch’s costume is just as good with no cape anyways. That green face and nose wart was it.
