Donuts are the ultimate comfort food treats. And these pumpkin spice buttermilk donuts with their warm fall spices are sure to please. One of the best pumpkin desserts I’ve made!

When it’s time for everything pumpkin spice, you can’t get much better than donuts! Crispy on the outside and soft and pillowy on the inside, they are everything you love about donuts! So they are perfect for fall or when the heck ever!
You use pumpkin puree in these donuts and it’s super cinchy to make yourself. If you don’t have time or any frozen on hand, grab a can of pumpkin puree at the store.
These pumpkin spice donuts are super delicious because of the buttermilk that makes them all yummy yummy. If you don’t have that on hand, you can make it in a whip snap with some regular whole milk and a tablespoon of lemon juice or vinegar. Give it a whirr, and let it set about 5 minutes. Come back and buttermilk it is. It’s a great substitute and gives your dough that tangy hint.
The best part about the donuts is the glaze. Isn’t that what we love most about donuts anyways? It makes them shiny and pretty AND gives that extra sweet kick! So whip up some dough, roll it out, cut the donuts and get cooking!

Since these donuts have yummy pumpkin puree, they don’t fluff up quite as much as other donuts, they have a great bite and moist texture. I guarantee you’l have to make them more than once. They taste incredible! I can’t wait to hear all about it!
