Easy bisquick blackberry cobbler is the perfect summer dessert that only takes minutes to make! Just dump it together and go! Such and easy dessert, but everyone will love it. One of our favorite berry desserts.
The golden cake topping and yummy fresh fruit melt together to make the perfect sweet treat to serve to friends or enjoy yourself!
There is nothing easier than grabbing a box of bisquick and having a dessert made in minutes. And who doesn’t love fruit cobblers? I remember my grandma making them when I was a kid. They taste like love!
All you have to do is toss your fresh or frozen blackberries in some sugar. Any berries will work, but we love picking fresh wild blackberries by the pond! You can try the recipe with strawberries, blueberries, cherries, even peaches will work! Just slice them up and substitute them for the berries. Anyway, back to the blackberries.
Mix the bisquick with a little milk, melt some butter in a pan, dump it in, then dump on the fruit, and bakes! Voila, a dessert that it took under 5 minutes to mix up!
A great tip is to preheat the oven before you start tossing the blackberries with the sugar. Then mix up the batter while the blackberries are mascerating! In 10 minutes’s time and less than 5 of that is mixing, most of it is just waiting for the sugar to bring out the juices in the berries.
Frozen fruit is fine for cobbler recipes too! Whatever you have on hand or can easily get. The best part about frozen blackberries being good for this recipe is that you don’t have to wait until summer to make it!
